1982 Sept  Membership crosses two lakhs. Scholarship Examinations setup, inaugurated.

1996 Nov.  Membership crosses three lakhs.
1997 Feb.  DCL I.Q. development exam scheme inaugurated.
1997 April  Eleven houses for the poor completed under the DCL Housing Scheme.
1998 June  DCL Spreads wings to the ‘Special Schools’. Mentally Challenged children start getting  membership. Training programmes for Teachers and Parents of mentally challenged children begin. Competitions for these children’s also take off.
1999 Oct.  Adopted a village in Orissa. Rendered financial support to construct School buildings and a few hoses there.
2001 July  Membership crosses six lakhs.
2002 June  Golden Jubilee Celebrations Inaugurated by Central Minister of State Mr. O.Rajagopal.
2004 Feb  Golden Jubilee Celebrations - concluding ceremony inaugurated by Chief Minister A.K. Antony
2004 Feb  DCL Talent Clubs started
2004 June  DCL Easwara Darshan - Value Education Programme for all students started.
2005 Dec  Membership Croses Nine lakhs.
2006 Oct.  National Level, National Integration Painting Fest - Deepika Colour India. Around 10 lakh students participated
2008 July.  Members croses 9.5 lakhs.
